so when you say "mat" and "roving", do you mean you fiberglassed in the balsa?

by the way, speaking of dealling with cold and wetness, I was talking to a guy in Seattle who said that Anacortes has much less cold and nasty weather than bellingham. is that true? what is the seasteading situation around Anacortes? looks like there are many little bays in many little islands to park in for a few days at a time
