Subject: The rule has been around for as long as I can remember. If you haven’t placed in prelim in 2+ years you are allowed to move back down and compete there.

[> [> Subject: Oh ok - yes, I remember that rule :). There wasn't any messaging about the general rule of calendar year after 2 wins or after the 2nd win if it occurred in a different year, so I was taken aback for a sec! Thanks for your response.

[> [> Subject: That's true. However I just looked at the Lunasa syllabus after seeing this post, and saw that they have left out the part of the rule that says if you haven't placed top 3 in OC in 2+ years. Now it just says if you haven't placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in OC. So in theory you can now do one or two OC feiseanna, place as high as 4th, but still drop down to Prelim if you feel like it?
