Subject: Where do we look to find 2010 Feis List and Syllabi for the NE Region? With reduced # of feis available and new rule (finalized?) of Prelims needing 3 firsts before Open, I don't want to miss out an any.

I would beg to differ, but truly cannot offer any concrete facts to back that up as I don't seem to have the same information you do! Subject: Question on location of OSC Christmas Feis (December 13th). The syllabus says it's at Saugus Belmonte Middle School on 25 Dow St, however, the schedule says Pierce Memorial Drive. I checked the internet and the high school is on Pierce Memorial Drive. Can someone confirm where this feis is taking place?

Subject: Camera missing from Oireachtas

Subject: What additional training or strenghtening exercises have your kids done to prepare to go on pointe. There doesn't seem to be as much preparation and training as in ballet. Has anyone tried The Perfect Pointe book recommended by Taoknitter?

fyi - pointe in ballet is very different than in ID, ID is more of a balancing issue, while in ballet your whole weight is on the tips of your toes (NT) -- :-), 16:44:07 11/28/09 Sat Agreed, ballet & ID is totally different. In each case, one needs a strong core in order to have the "pull up" that's so necessary to going up on toes safely.
