Subject: OP, since you're "hoping for a wigless O", why don't you just go wigless/have your dd go wigless? It's not like they're mandatory. I don't think the entire region needs to go wigless to suit your preferences. We love the convenience of wigs but we don't try to impose our preferences on others, so why do you? | |

Author: No need to control others. [ Edit | View ] |
Date Posted: 06:32:45 08/26/23 Sat No need to control anyone else on my end- just would be pleased if the teachers in the region voted to ban wigs. We all know that kids that go without wigs when others use them are sometimes seen as "not up to standard" or they don't "have the look" or don't look "polished"- so if other kids had a wig and mine didn't, my child would possibly be disadvantaged at larger competitions. This is why I wouldn't choose to have my child go without a wig unless the region goes this way as a whole. Also- this is about wigs...for children. No need to take it all so seriously. Life is too short to be so wound up. :) [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
