What? I said no croutons!

Adrian should have realised that this was a fight gone bad, but alas perhaps nothing could dissuade him now. No, not in the heat of it. He felt her hind claws rake his chest. They came dangerously close to his belly. Yet the bay paid little regard to the danger.

In the end it would certainly cost him.

However, the cat creature had too much faith in the idea that intense discomfort alone could convince Adrian to cease his crushing push against the tree. Sure it stung like Hell now, but the latter benefits would probably be worth it. It appeared a funny picture really: a homicidal brown horse smothering a hissing and clawing cat against a perfectly healthy tree. But Adrian had no time for humour right now. In response to the feline's self-defense, the rebel pushed harder. He planned to sqeeze this prat into submission.

Blood now streamed onto the sand below. The auburn hadn't expected his little escapade to get so brutal.. To make matters worse, his strength was lagging slightly.
