As far as I'm concerned Rugby Union have it right. The players have numbers on the back of there jerseys for a reason, and as so, only the capatain should be identified by his name. This was evident in Saturdays sharks v roosters game. After one of the brawls. the touchie (not Steve Carrall), refered to all the players by their names. Why should he have to spend times studying big league to learn names?

If an NRL player swears at a referee, or shows displeasure in a decision (mouithing off, middle finger, body language etc.) they should be immediately marched 10 and if they do it again sin binned. Referees show respect to players, and players should return this.

Overall, most referees don;t tolerate crap from players. I've been impressed in 2007 with the consistent performances from Steve Clark, Paul Simpkins and Ben Cummins. Good to see referees not taking this garbage
