How about this..

The referees' should stop refereeing the way television stations want it and not cop it at all.

I know we aren't just talking about it in NRL but in general as well. Personally, I give the teams one warning - at the toss addressing the captains. If I get any backchat or abuse then the first one is straight in the bin. I rarely get backchat after that.

There is no need for abuse/backchat in any sport or any part of life in general and there are NO excuses.
