Jon took the papers from her, shuffling through them quickly and just glimpsing at their titles. He remembered most of them, but he'd want to read them back over and make sure he was thinking of the right ones. He knew what a rare person Sara was for some one in her age group. He'd never once seen her been mean spirited or negative towards another student, he never heard her talking about other people, and there was a depth to her mind that was far beyong her years. "Yes, one of these will probably do. Would you mind if i took them home to read them over?" Jon asked her, his green eyes lifting from the papers to her face. He looked back down at them quietly for a moment. She hadn't burnt him, he was just afraid, he didn't trust himself honestly, not with Sara. When she spoke Jon looked back up at her, his brows furrowing for a moment before he smiled sadly. "James is a punk. I don't know what you were doing with him. You can do alot better Sara." Jon told her, though he looked away quickly as he finished speaking, thinking maybe he had stepped over the line a little. He cleared his throat and stuck the papers in his bag to take home so he wouldn't forget. "If you want to stay in here until class starts you may, but i need to grade some papers." Jon told her, pulling another stack of papers out as he straightened and beginning to read over them, watching Sara out of the corner of his eye.
