Subject: Lets pray for the school kids under siege in Russia

I feel very angered at the hostage taking tactics of islamic fanatics these days.Too bad they terrorise kids. I guess this will make the islamic cause lose whatever sympathy it had in the international arena.
What is the meaning of the so called leaders like yasser Arafat, at othe r hostage takings, and throat cuttings, while he deplored one such thing- the kidnapping of 2 French newsreporters.

I was discussing witha friend of mine. He said, if he were a moslim, and if he had some grievence against the western world, he would have leda campaign,.While there is widespread kidnappings and highjackings, why the islamic normals are not uniting for a worldwide campaign by normal legal and human ways.
For instance, while faced with occupation by the british regime, way back in the 18th and 19th centuaries, people like mahatma gandhi of india, engaged in non violent protest and earned a lot of respect from even the british.
Why the moslims of today are so different, are human values a thing of the past centuary?
Why 21st centuary is so barbarian?
Just some thoughts, while I watch the tension and trauma of the families of thos e kids.
Since \i have many friends in russia, I only pray they are all safe and escape without much agony.
