(She let out a low breath as he changed his form, admiring the smoothness of the shift. Most males had an almost fierce sort of shift, as though their dragon form was forcing it's way out of the mist.. but ever since Kaden's color change he had a way of shifting forms that seemed effortless, almost beautiful. She smiled at him as he tucked her in with pillow and blanket, and shifted onto her side as he laid down, wrapping a small hand into the blanket, the other laying on the pillow beside her head. Her eyes were soft as she looked at him, her mind running through all the information she had gleaned and what to tell him first.) She told me of a myth.. well, a couple of them. Only, she doesna think they are myths, she believes they are the future of her clan. (She and Evie had taken up residence in the great hall for nearly two hours, sipping coffee and discussing the history of the silver and black clans.. and the reason she had left her clan.) It seems that several generations ago there was a war between the black dragons and the silver ones, which were in the same clan back then. Moonsickness was becoming more prevalent in the black dragon females, especially of the royal line.. and the strongest of the silver males saw this as a sign of weakness.. and rallied the silvers to overthrow the black Laird. (She sighed, remembering the tale as Evie had told it, in such vivid detail.) They burned him alive, Kaden.. and as he died, he put a curse on the clan.. so that no truemate would be born to them until a black dragon once again ruled as Laird. (Her hand moved briefly to tuck her hair back before laying on the pillow again. She took a deep breath and let it out.. that was only the first part of the legend.. but she didnt want to throw it all at him once, it was a lot to digest.)
