Why do this?Pooler will have no youth system and it will dissapoint all the young players and put them off playing for Pooler, and supporting them. If this is all true, then its a sad time for the Colts and Youth. We will have to find a new name, somewhere top go post-match and even face the possibility of disbanding. If this is all true, Mr Jude has made a mistake! Maybe the webmaster can do something!?!?

We can't use the club, Park or even call ourselves Pontypool any more. Two nights later we held a meeting and determined that other than dispanding, we could find a new place to play and call ourselves 'Pontypool Town'. I agree with Spaner, I'll I've wanted to do is play for Pontypool and now that's being taken away!

How can we encourage local youngsters to develop when there's no route to progress to senior level. Both Spaner and Parky are obviously committed to playing for Pontypool because they're local lads who are folowing the great rugby tradition in Pontypool of raising quality players who aspire to one day playing for the mighty Pooler. To deny youngsters this dream is crazy. The Colts and Youth were formidable teams last season. We must do everything we can to retain these youngsters. It was good to see a good number joining the full Pooler squad this year. There's nothing to make a young local rugby player more proud that putting on the famous red white and black hoops and playing with pride. Ending this will be at our peril !!!!!!! Sort it out please. We find it desgusting that they would treat young talent with so much pride in Pontypool RFC like this! I feel that other sponcers may folow our lead to withdraw money untill this is sorted out!
