>We must sort this out.The Youth and Colts are vital for our club's future. How can we encourage local youngsters to develop when there's no route to progress to senior level.

Both Spaner and Parky are obviously committed to playing for Pontypool because they're local lads who are folowing the great rugby tradition in Pontypool of raising quality players who aspire to one day playing for the mighty Pooler.
To deny youngsters this dream is crazy.

The Colts and Youth were formidable teams last season. We must do everything we can to retain these youngsters. It was good to see a good number joining the full Pooler squad this year.

There's nothing to make a young local rugby player more proud that putting on the famous red white and black hoops
and playing with pride.

Ending this will be at our peril !!!!!!!

Sort it out please.

Spaner and Parky ------ Keep your spirits up.

Owing to the publication in the local Paper and what these Colts boys have been putting on this Website, We were going to sponcer Pontypool RFC this season (like we did with pride last season) but after carful consideration have decided agains it untill the Youth section have been reinstated to Pontypool RFC. We find it desgusting that they would treat young talent with so much pride in Pontypool RFC like this! I feel that other sponcers may folow our lead to withdraw money untill this is sorted out!

I feel that the loss of our strong youth setup would be extremely detrimental to the future of Pontypool RFC but why would a 'sponcer' of the club post a message on the message board to say they won't be sponsoring the club this coming season...surely this is something that you'd discuss behind closed doors?? If this is a genuine message then I suggest you start spellchecking before posting any further messages, hardly inspires confidence in your company otherwise!!
