What has happened, was that on the 6/8/02 Mr Bob Jude said he no longer wanted the colts side to be an official part of Pontypool RFC (aparently). We can't use the club, Park or even call ourselves Pontypool any more. Two nights later we held a meeting and determined that other than dispanding, we could find a new place to play and call ourselves 'Pontypool Town'. I agree with Spaner, I'll I've wanted to do is play for Pontypool and now that's being taken away!

>We must sort this out.The Youth and Colts are vital for our club's future. How can we encourage local youngsters to develop when there's no route to progress to senior level.

Both Spaner and Parky are obviously committed to playing for Pontypool because they're local lads who are folowing the great rugby tradition in Pontypool of raising quality players who aspire to one day playing for the mighty Pooler.
To deny youngsters this dream is crazy.

The Colts and Youth were formidable teams last season. We must do everything we can to retain these youngsters. It was good to see a good number joining the full Pooler squad this year.

There's nothing to make a young local rugby player more proud that putting on the famous red white and black hoops
and playing with pride.

Ending this will be at our peril !!!!!!!

Sort it out please.

Spaner and Parky ------ Keep your spirits up.
