Lets not get too down about today's game. There's always a lot of tension in the opening game. Yes we made silly mistakes and the line-out went back to the bad days of last season at times. However, we won !!! That was important.
Little disappointed by the fact that we couldn't break their defence down. It was crying out for a chip over their defence or a little grubber kick but we were trying the same ploy over and over. Thought Ben had a good game. Bonymaen were using spoiling tactics which didn't help but we should have dealt with them in a more professional manner.
Anyway, it's something to build on and we must improve as I'm sure we will. Good luck for the season Pooler.
