A couple of points on the game. Yes, it is important that you win when you are not playing well but we cannot afford to turn in too many performances like that, especially at home. Hopefully, that has served as a reminder that we cannot win this league just by turning up. We have a great squad but we still have to do the business on the field 34 times this season.

We started the game as if we needed the try count. Yes, I know that we eventually scored a try from an awarded penalty but we spurned 3 very kickable goals in the opening ten mins that would have given us 9 points, not seven. Let's make sure we have the match won before we start going for the tries.

Also, at the end of the game with a scrum in our own 22 we picked up the ball from the base of the scrum and run with it. Why? There are so many things that can go wrong from doing that ( knock on, being pushed back from the gain line, failure to recycle ball following the tackle). Why take such risks? Surely a safe kick to touch was the better option?

Again loads of subs being made and only one injury enforced. Let's not fall into teh trap of changing too many players unnecessarily uwhen we are winning the game. We know where that got us last year...!

Still, a win is a win and we can only get better from here. Let's put it right against Whitland.

And we supporters can do our bit by getting more vocal and turning up in our masses. The louder we are the better the lads will play.
