Subject: I agree Dean. We can't take this sitting down. There must be some goal at the end of a long season otherwise we might as well all pack in now. If there is going to be changes the logical step would be to have 3 or 4 Provincial teams such as Gwent etc... and not cherry pick a few clubs in favour. The latter would cause a lot of alienation with clubs left out and would ultimately destroy Welsh rugby. But knowing the WRU thats what they'll do. WE must fight any attempt at setting up Super Clubs. There's no way Pooler's mighty following or Ebbw Vale fans would support a Newport side which had killed their clubs off.

I fully support what you say. Pooler supporters cheering on Newport is about as likely as them supporting England!

The answer has to be a domestic league with 12 or more clubs so that we get a fixture every week. The top few clubs could qualify for Europe, as in the soccer, or we could have provinces. Either way, we play alongside (assuming we get in the top 12) Newport, Cardiff, etc. and are not a feeder club.
