Subject: ""Sabbath. Is Saturday your Sabbath?"
"Joan, Saturday is THE sabbath. :)"
According to whom? ;)
According to God! "REMEMBER the SABBATH day to keep it holy".
Man changed it sometime around 400A.D. Who? The Catholic church changed the day. I am sure we will get in to this discussion further. :) Right now, without trying to seem as if I'm pointing fingers, being mean or even avoiding you, let me say, I have my daughter here now and we have some errands to run. Gotta scoot but promise, more later.

As you know by now, Makayla opted to stay on the farm and help dad. She called me though. :) -- Catie, 06:00:59 12/09/07 Sun [1] (h224.131.141.67.ip.alltel.net/67.141.131.224)

Barb, books coming your way, too. -- Joan, 16:12:04 12/09/07 Sun [1] (ip68-0-253-131.ri.ri.cox.net/68.0.253.131)
With the Xmas rush, I have no idea how long it will be til you see them. :)
There's one book that I think you will really like. I remembered it when a topic came up on Catie's, but I thought I had tossed that book in the last great Book Toss at my house.
I feel so light tonight. This book toss really cleared the house out of stagnant books--those I've already read, and those that I bought and intended to read, but never did. It's safe to assume that if you've had a book for 5 years and haven't had the urge to read it yet, you never will have the urge to read it. But I'm sure glad that I wasn't as thorough during the last purge. :)

I was joking on your forum, and assumed that everyone else was, too. Egads!
Well, at least the question gave you a chance to get that off your chest. :)

OH. Okie dokie then. Sorry about that. I didn't know you were joking. I thought you were truly eager for one of your our in depth discussions. I mean, of course I knew you were teasing about finding "new digs". But I thought you really were serious about wanting to know why I said Sabbath is on Saturday. :)

I have a couple of books to send to you. But I have to check my memory--you're the one who like JFK, correct?

different pages? Heck Joan we aren't even on the same book! LOL But -- Catie, 06:53:46 12/10/07 Mon [1] (h224.131.141.67.ip.alltel.net/67.141.131.224)
that doesn't stop me from enjoying a good chat with you. I hope you feel the same. :)
No. I really didn't care much for JFK, (learning about him after the fact at least) But I am & have always been rather intrigued with Jacki. Her life was interesting to me.

I'm in a completely different book again! .............. -- Barb, 15:27:11 12/11/07 Tue [1] (clgrtnt5-port-4.dial.telus.net/161.184.48.4)
but friends "share books" don't they! :-)
I loved JFK as a kid...before I knew about his dalliances with other women. Jacki intrigues me more than him, too. Actually, Caroline intrigues me more than all of them.
