I missed the program (again) even though I have been intending to watch.

There's no doubt about it, folks of all nationalities, and religious orign use religion as a front to get across their political views. Politics and religion are suppose to be separate, but there will always be radicals who white wash their political views and call it religion. The pulpit has been used as a podium to preach propoganda as well as religion even before organized religion. There will always be those who abuse their status as a person of the cloth. For every Mother Teresa and Billy Graham, you will have a Jim Jones. Scary hardly describes it all.

Yes, I think it could happen. It will be Islam. The muslims already have such a huge population now throughout Europe. The Europe that I first saw in 1983 as a 16 year old is not the same Europe that I have visited now.
I really saw this in France, and Germany.

It was two years ago today when I was last in London, England. I had been there 4 times 1983, 1997, 2001, and 2005. I really saw the difference the last time I was there. It was like an explosion of muslims every where I went in London. At times I felt like I was in the Middle East instead of being in England. I must admit it really bothered me.

In my small town just a few blocks from where I live we now have a lot of muslims. They dress in the traditional dress.

They have so many children that they will outnumber us. I'm very afraid about these muslim fanatics.

exactly what you are saying. It is not that you and I would wish to worship differently than we do, but it is what may be forced upon future generations because of the way the world is going. Ian and I will be in London in October. This will be our 7th trip there and each time we have seen alot of change. The Muslim population is growing and growing there and I wonder what it will be like this time around. I have seen enough programs to know how much the Brits are worrying about their countrie's future and they have the right to feel the way they do. It's the fanaticism...and it's already getting out of hand. Those years ago when the Harrods store left British hands was a huge mistake and I wonder how many others have now followed suit. Little by little...:-#

...but not till the Second Coming. Then, everyone will be Christian or else. Unless the Second Coming occurs during my/our lifetime, I do NOT believe there will ever be a World Religion in the meantime. Barb, I hope you do not find this disrespectful, but for me to state that many of us Christians do not believe this, would be disingenuous.

I share Neysa's concern abt Muslim influence in Europe. There are so many of them there, its scary. Many of them are there illegally. Despite the fact that they come from pathetic, intolerant, poor countries, they do nothing but complain abt their circumstances. It supports my viewpoint that Islam is an anti-Western religion and that drugs, illegal immigration, crime and terrorism are related. The evidence is overwelming.

I don't think it's too controversial. You're stating your opinion about a religion, so it's not a personal attack on any individual.

I disagree that all of Islam is anti-Western in the same way that the radical faction is.

It's probably true that most Muslims in the West are conservative compared to liberals, but they are no more anti-West than conservative Christians. They're both against the stuff that's bad in the West. Let's face it, there is a lot to be proud of in the West, but there's a lot that we can be ashamed of.

Radical Muslims are against everything Western, even the stuff we're rightly proud of. Religious freedom, the right to free speech, women's right to vote, educating our sons *and* daughters, etc.

And radical liberals in America are their cheerleaders/ring leaders. Idiots. But heck, it gets them votes, so they don't care if they're using people.
