I also take it in the hand. I was watching EWTN. They had a special on about the Latin Mass. If you attend a Mass that is said all in Latin. You have to take communion in the mouth while kneeling.

I remember that well. I prefer to take Communion in the hand--it's more sanitary. I wonder if they will take that into consideration as they work this whole thing out. I bet the bishops in the USA will ask for that change.

I saw part of the EWTN show. It was very interesting.

If the Bishops in the USA ask for that change they will have to re-install all the communion rails that were removed from the churches.

There is an Australian movie called THE BRIDES OF CHRIST, about the Catholic Church after Vatican II. There is a scene during Mass. All the older nuns are responding in the Latin. All the younger ones are responding in English.

The Holy Father is now allowing the Latin Mass to be said on week days and once on a Sunday. Soon all those people who wanted the Latin Mass brought back will soon start complaining that it isn't enough. They will want it all the time as it once was before 1962. If that happens you will see a schism in the church. I don't think people want to go through a major change again and this time going backwards.
