Subject: Former Catholics

The Catholic religion is steeped in ritualism. For those of you brought up as Catholics, and now belong to other religions, do you ever find your self doing something "Catholic"? For example : Making the sign of the cross, saying a Catholic prayer ( The Hail Mary, or Hail Holy Queen) ???

Making the sign of the cross is the most likely. I also remember the melodies from a couple hymms which I hum from time-to-time which are primarily sung by Catholics. So there are a few things I do every once in awhile.

There are times when I follow news from the Catholic Church. The most recent example is the election of a new Pope. I followed that hr-by-hr when I lived in Ireland. There was round-the-clock coverage of that fascinating event.
