Although it is now over 30 years since I made my First Communion. I can still remember parts of it as if it happened yesterday. It was a beautiful warm, sunny, day in May. There were 22 of us in my communion class. The church was decorated with beautiful flowers. In front of the first pew there was a huge arch, decorated with grapes, wheat, and more flowers. As we walked into the church and up the aisle. The girls in 7th and 8th grade stood on either side of the aisle; held up long stem pink flowers making an arch for the communion class to walk under.

When it was time for communion we walked up two by two and stood in front of the altar. It was so special for me because I was the first one to receive the host "body of Christ". I remember feeling very proud and happy!

Hmm. I was hoping that your response here would give me a clue. ;-)

I've never heard the name Neysa before, and I was hoping that you would mention wearing a veil or tie here.

Is Neysa short for something? A made-up Net name? A last name?

Joan

I am a female. Neysa is my first name. It is from the Greek name Agnes. ( no I am not Greek). My mom found it in a baby name book.
