I'm not really a city girl, but I fell in love with a city boy. He followed me back to the country. I'm looking forward to Chicago again, but fuck the arctic climate and it's bitchy fucking winds. (Hmmm, how do you guys feel about cursing?) Chicago gets one good season and you can't even enjoy it because they have to shove all of the construction for the entire year into it, lol.

I fall into a grey area in my state where I can not aquire a service dog as they define it. Federally speaking I am allowed to train my own, but if there's ever a legal issue, the cops will probably not consider it a protected SD unless it comes from an organization. (I can even be fined.) So even though I've been perscribed one I can't really start the process and getting approved from an out of state organization (or even qualifying) is a real pain in the ass. And don't get me started on just how laughable I think the idea is of me actually training one. I forget to feed and water myself on a regular basis, lol. I don't think I could keep a house plant alive. xD

Now onto the important stuff...

It sounds like a mix between Fast & the Furious/Gone in 60 seconds and Buffy the vampire slayer, lol.

Ok, your diplomatic welcome totally worked, Ladies, so I'd like to give this place a shot. What do I need to do to make a character? I'm used to having to fill out a form of some kind that includes a biography and writing sample, but I'm getting the vibe that it's a less formal here.

Haha, I'm so ready to start writing tonight, but I don't even have the slightest clue about my character, lol. I'm kinda stressed and excited about the freedom, if that makes sense. I get stressed because I'm always concerned I will step over some secret, unspoken boundary (or look silly!) but I'm excited because now I can try out some of the more quirky concepts I've had. But damn do I have a tendency to change my mind a million times before settling on something.

So are supernatural creatures attracted to CM or does there just /happen/ to be a larger population there? I'm assuming it's ok to make up disposable NPC type characters, like random thief or hungry vampire.

Well, I got no sleep last night or the one before. I basically won't get any tonight or the next and I'm getting married on Tuesday so if I do chat between now and a week from now it will be completely random. I'll be back to check about the character cration-y type stuff and if I do get one made should I throw her into that open thread you mentioned? :)
