A sudden intake of air came from the woman as she hit the ground, the force of his hand too much for weakening legs.

She held a chilly hand to her face, using it like an ice pack and moving her jaw around, trying to shake of the pain that stabbed like a thousand needles on her skin.

A taste of iron invaded her mouth and her tongue quickly found the slit on the inside of her cheek. She tried to get it to stop and swallow all the blood that contaminated her mouth before she spoke.

"Yah know, it's rude to hit women." She paused and looked up at the creature that had just hit her. "How long are you going to drag this out?" She said, begrudgingly. She wasn't sure if she really wanted to know the answer to that particular question, but the red head was tired of all this dilly-dallying. If they were going to do something, she'd rather they get on with it...rather than pulling it out...
