A roar cracked from those lips. Sure. He could have quite easily moved those stunning features from her reach or just as easily knocked her to the ground. Lucian, however, needed to make this into a learning experience, teaching his sweet little dove that striking out was a major no-no. Unlike his father, the elder brother would not just take being smacked around and retreat like a puppy. Oh no. That just would not do. Before he could restrain himself, the back of his hand cracked against her cheek, as if trying to knock that smirk off her lips.
