As she slid back into her seat at the booth she looked up to see Max's face which registered a look of suprise mixed with amusement and delight, with his mouth open wide. She couldn't help but to burst out laughing as she stared at his dumbsturck look and comment. "Darling, you didn't want a greeting like that. Plus I like you so i figured you would want a nicer one. Plus you didn't ask me to come sit on your lap." She said through bursts of giggles. As the couple went back to their disscussion and the man back to his reading, Midori finally calmed herself down in time to hear Max's comments concerning the men at the table. She looed over at the big man and saw his friends trying to pursuade, or comfort him. But his face carried a murderous anger and a deep red blush. She had stopped his little game before he had even gotten it rolling. She gave a smirk and looked back to the adorable man in front of her. "Thanks Max, dear. It was quite fun to mess with him actually. And he will get over it, its most likely not the first time his advances have been rejected. Maybe he is just made that he was rejected by someone as average looking as me." She said with a smile and a small giggle. She took his hand in hers and marveled at the feeling of her small, delicate hand inside of his larger one.
