He didn't really spend a lot of time as a wolf, and was still trying to think of a reason why he should. It would've been a different story if he was a dog, just an ordinary-looking dog you'd find on the street. You could just spend the day exploring through the city being happily ignored by everyone. As a wolf... well... you couldn't really. Not unless you wanted to get shot or anything else unpleasant. "You have no idea, max." He leaned his head back and gazed up at the ceiling, one arm folded behind his head and the other resting on his stomach, rising and falling every so slightly as he breathed. No, he probably didn't have clue. "I'm just sorry I- hadn't been of more help, you know." he spoke into thin air, glancing at her apologetically. So much for the Knight in Shining Armour story.
