I agree with your idea of how rules should be implemented. I guess my take has been that is the way it has mainly been but you make a good point regarding the decision to have an after draft trade period, so maybe things have slowly changed and I haven't really noticed - or maybe the mods were making calls on things I for the most part agreed on, so I didnt really pay much attention.
