Hi
I'm New to forum. I've just bought a Pulsar 582 version modified with a Jabiru.
The LAA inspector has noticed excessive play in the top rudder hinge bolt.

There appears to be a captive nut riveted to the bracket but the I/4 inch unf nut appears too small and does not engage the threads of the nut. So the builder put a castle nut and split bin to retain it.

But the inspector is not happy with the play. Does any pulsar builder have any details of the correct bolt size bolt .
I've tried 5/16 unf bolt -but that's too big .

Many thanks Kelvin
