- Texas contestants for this year, without Matlock as she's the first time since 2018 without her. -- No name, 19:40:49 02/26/25 Wed (NoHost/27.49.15.157)
- And no Wingard or Alanna Bruce. (NT) -- Anyone else you hoped would return?, 21:34:26 02/26/25 Wed (99-7-233-117.lightspeed.rcsntx.sbcglobal.net/99.7.233.117)
- Two are named Sarah Swift? (NT) -- No name, 22:23:03 02/26/25 Wed (c-76-31-134-123.hsd1.tx.comcast.net/76.31.134.123)
- Texas is having sweeps today. Anyone know how many are competing and for how many titles? (NT) -- Or is it a crown all event? Who do you hope to see?, 19:26:57 03/01/25 Sat (99-7-233-117.lightspeed.rcsntx.sbcglobal.net/99.7.233.117)
- I'm hoping Maddie Matlock gives it one more try (NT) -- No name, 09:52:08 03/02/25 Sun (NoHost/100.17.37.204)
- She's engaged. Can we stop acting like pageants are the most important thing in any of these women's lives? Even the girls that are good at them? Goodness. (NT) -- No name, 12:35:31 03/02/25 Sun (98.sub-174-201-22.myvzw.com/174.201.22.98)
- Not one person said pageants are the most important thing. I said I would love to see her give it one more try. She's 24, FFS. It's a fine age to get married, but it also is a younger age. It's not like we're saying she should be competing at age 35 (NT) -- No name, 16:38:30 03/02/25 Sun (NoHost/100.17.37.204)
- Who said Pageants are the most important thing in these girls lives? Oh that's right no one did. What is wrong with wanting a talented young women to try to win her state title!?! If you feel so strongly against pageants then why are you here? (NT) -- No name, 12:06:00 03/07/25 Fri (NoHost/170.211.119.130)
- I am happy when young women see their futures more brightly as they age; some think their futures are better if they move on, rather then stay in a hamster wheel for another year. Given a choice between a husband and potential forever happiness, and a crown, I'd take the husband every time. - That's a false dichotomy. No one is saying girls have to choose between a husband and a crown. She's 24. If she'd rather get married, FANTASTIC! I'm very happy for her and say go for it! But I don't think girls should ever have to choose between a husband and a crown. That "crown", while minimized often in these types of discussions, can be a stepping stone to amazing careers, especially in a state like TX where being Miss TX actually means something to people. Many men recognize that and wait for their young woman. Nothing wrong with that. Live and let live. No shade toward this young lady nor should there be shade thrown on the young women who put off marriage until they win or age out (NT) -- No name, 19:32:32 03/15/25 Sat (NoHost/100.17.37.204)
",Well, I don't know about that. I've had plenty of both. And let me tell you the bigger, the better! Crowns, I mean." (NT) -- No name, 22:12:01 03/20/25 Thu (93.sub-174-216-2.myvzw.com/174.216.2.93)
- No One said Pageants were the most important. Get a hold of yourself. (NT) -- No name, 20:40:42 03/23/25 Sun (c-73-142-196-158.hsd1.ct.comcast.net/73.142.196.158)
- I only know who got crowned: Miss East Montgomery County, Emma Klitus; Miss Central Texas, Lilly Dale; Miss Knox-Henderson, Nishitha Karumuri; Miss Galveston, Sade Storthz; and Miss Lewisville, Katherine Omo-Osagie, who win Interview, Fitness and Gown. Sade Storthz won Talent. Hope that helps! (NT) -- No name, 14:55:02 03/02/25 Sun (c-76-31-134-123.hsd1.tx.comcast.net/76.31.134.123)
