Subject: This is false. The Director reached out to multiple dance & voice studios to find contestants. No one was turned away.

In reply to: 's message, "This is flat wrong. We inquired of the pageant and were told there would not be one. My daughter qualifies in age. So just skip the pageant when you have girls that qualify and want to compete and then pick a 19 year old that does not qualify. Allison would never allow this." on Tue January 24, 2023 15:04:07

Let's be realistic- Directors get plenty of inquiries but without enough girls actually entered in time, it doesn’t make sense to incur the costs of holding a pageant. So technically, NH defaulted to an at-large state and eligibility rule #3.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: I’m just following logic here- When there wasn’t enough interest to hold the pageant, the State Director went with the girl she had, who was eligible. It seems you're upset because you feel your daughter deserved to be appointed the title on a technicality because the Director held off on announcing and awarding the crown so the Teen could give her MAO crown down.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: Finally, you say Allison would never allow this. To my disappointment, it seems Allison wasn't very discriminating with who she licensed state pageants to. She put the national structure in place, runs a FANTASTIC show, but it seems she's neglected the business side of it with the states. I'm sorry- unfortunately this situation is a technicality.
