In reply to: 's message, "Scandal- What happened to the eligibility requirements? Anna Grace Loudenbeck- 0 ties to Maryland and was 3rd Runner Up at Miss Tennessee Volunteer." on Sun March 10, 2024 10:23:00

She saw that Allison was looking for representatives for a few states that don’t have anyone. Since it was her last chance in teen, she thought “why not?” She intentionally chose the state that she DID have ties to. She has a house in Maryland. She will be a fabulous titleholder and everyone needs to support her.

If Volunteer wants any chance of establishing pageants in the current at-large states, the need representatives that are physically there- live, work or attend school in that state- otherwise you'll never get programs established there.

[> [> Subject: High School America did away with this nonsense. If you don't win a state title, you can pay to go at-large as a "Nickname" state. Why fake that you're representing an area you don't have a connection to? Before you know it, there will be a Miss Guam, Miss Virgin Islands or Miss Puerto Rico because someone owns a timeshare there. Allison needs to think about this bad precedent she has started. It leaves me with bad feelings about the Volunteer system.
