A big dragon, almost the size of a brown and a middling darkish blue with a bright glow, emerges from between with a powerful downsweep of his wings. He circles once over a nearby firelizard nest, then lands, and his rider leaps off to stare mournfully at the empty nest. Two firelizards, a big brown and a blue so tiny it could fit in the palm of a child's hand with wings spread and tail uncurled, appear and do a few arial acrobatics above the empty nest, chittering madly, before taking up perches on the bluerider's shoulders. There were eggs there, they insist to him, just a few minutes ago when he looked, and if silly S'kar hadn't taken so long to get his riding gear on, one still might have been there for the taking! Why did silly S'kar bother with all those straps and goggles and the helmet? Raskith wouldn't let him fall, no, Smoke and Smidge just knew he wouldn't. Raskith was the bestest dragon in the world, yep yep!

Laughing at his firelizards' rapid-fire complaints, S'kar pats Raskith on the shoulder. /You should be honored that they're so confident in you,/ he chuckles, shucking off his gloves, helmet, goggles, and jacket and setting them on a rock. It's too hot for them by far. /Since we're already here, why don't we-/ He breaks off as Raskith plunges into the surf, and laughs again. /I guess we will stay for a swim./

Turning to look back at him with happily whirling blue eyes, Raskith snorts to clear water from his nostrils. I'd like to see you stop me, he challenges playfully, but he waits for permission before leaving the shallow water.

/Go ahead,/ S'kar assures him, and as the blue dragon begins sporting about in the water, the dark-skinned man continues along the beach, gently hushing Smoke and Smidge. Rounding a bend, he stops abruptly to avoid stepping on Divar, and then grins at the boy. "Hello!" he hails, waving a hand despite his closeness. "Nice day to be out here, isn't it?"
