Yes children are still spanked. Are they still spanked bare bottom. Yes, some are. It's not a prevalent as it once was, but it does still happen. Corporal punishment is a pretty common topic among adults and many of my friends have told me about the spankings they received and even about ones given to their own kids, and many still spank bare at least on occasion. Also, I have overheard in public situations parents threatening to spank their kids. Some of those threats include saying "I'm going to pull down your pants and blister your bare butt. "I'm going to spank your bare bottom when we get home". and on occasion threatening to take them to the restroom or car and threatening to "Pull down your pants and give you a spanking." Finally, I have overheard and even a few times seen a child get spanked bare bottom in public situations. Including one time last summer when I was at the lake, a young mother pulling her son's shorts down in the play area and giving him four or five swats with her hand on his bare little bottom in front of everybody. It doesn't happen often because in this age of cell phones, you have to be aware, there will always be that person, cell phone in hand ready to snap pictures or shoot videos of a parent or teacher spanking a child so they can post it for the world to see on services such as YouTube, or Tik Tok. I grew up in a non-religious household, which also had no spanking. After my divorce I was blessed to find and join this church. To me it only makes sense, if a parent is going to spank. I am not alone. Yesterday we were in line at checkout in a grocery store. Ahead of us was a mother with a four or five year old who was arguing and fussing about something. Mom finally asked "Do you want me to pull your pants down right here?" My eight year old said authoritatively "That kid is going to have his pants pulled down when they get home " I gave the weary mother a knowing smile of support. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
