Hi! It's great to go barefoot at formal events like weddings.

Yesterday, I did some cleaning. After that, in the afternoon, we went shopping for about 30 minutes. By the time we got home, our feet were pretty black.

At the end of the afternoon, we went to the park. The boys had lots of fun on the slides, swings and such. Certainly a lot more carefree in bare feet than in shoes! There were a few other kids around, but you could see them sliding around in their socks and shoes on the plastic play equipment. Finally, it was time to leave. While crossing the road, my 8-year-old son stepped on a thin shard of glass. Luckily, I had tweezers, so he sat on a bench and crossed his foot to remove it, then we headed home. My husband came home and we had some good chicken.

In the evening, we decided to go for a walk along an old disused railroad track nearby with the whole family. We walked maybe about 2 miles. The boys have really hard feet and are getting very daring. They even sprinted a few times but I told them not to in case they lost their balance on a particularly sharp rock. We had a lot of fun and when we got home, we showered and watched TV.
