I completely understand your approach to exploring different surfaces and temperatures with your daughter, Rita. It's wonderful that you can share these moments together, both walking barefoot. Every parent has their own way of living and enjoying these experiences with their children, and that's what makes our relationship with them so special and unique.

You're right to point out that temperature perception can vary between adults and children, and that it's essential to take precautions to avoid any discomfort. Children often have this boundless energy and ability to enjoy every moment to the full without worrying about the cold, whereas we adults might feel the need to cover up more to feel comfortable.

It's perfectly understandable that some parents prefer to keep their winter boots warm and comfortable while their children play barefoot in the snow. Everyone has to do what's best for them, always keeping in mind the well-being of their children.

It's touching to know that you particularly enjoy going out with your daughter in the evening before she goes to bed, feeling the warmth of the day still stored up in the sidewalk. These shared moments of intimacy are precious and undoubtedly strengthen your parent-child bond.
