[> [> [> [> Subject: Baylee is a lovely, good-hearted young woman who's a good competitor and is very supportive of the program. She's now competed at MO 5 seasons with a record of T10, NF, 2RU, 3RU, T10. #1 reason she didn't make finals- this year is the most competitive I can remember in at least a decade. Baylee strikes me as having a very childlike demeanor; not childISH, but tender and vulnerable which can come off as needy. MA's direction is a fierce, accomplished, glamorous woman, like our MA Madison. If I were a judge and therefore didn't know of her, I would believe, compared to others, she's not emotionally up to the job of a state titleholder. She's also dangerously thin. Don't come at me with reasons or it's 'fitness', the fact of the matter is she looks dangerously thin and that's not a standard I want presented to young girls. She was strong in every onstage category, but there were stronger (including Stephanie who won both prelims).

[> [> [> [> [> Subject: Baylee is simply too robotic on-stage. That’s the biggest issue imo. She is incredibly beautiful, talented, and has a great personality when it shines through, like at the parade. However, she is incredibly stiff and robotic when she models. It irks me every time she competes. Additionally, an argument could be made that her participating in volunteer hurt her as well, but it’s hard to know that for certain. We all know Steven wouldn’t like it though. And I agree, Baylee comes off as a less mature than some others. This doesn’t have to be a bad thing if marketed correctly, but I don’t think she knows how to do that.

[> [> [> [> Subject: This is just my opinion but I’ve noticed a trend where if the contestant has an overly involved or outspoken parent the girl might get close but will not win. Steven doesn’t want to have to deal with a girl who has others advocating for her. Baylee has that. I’m not saying her mom has done anything wrong I’m just saying she’s very involved He also doesn’t want a girl who expresses her own opinions. He wants someone that will go along with whatever he wants without argument. Elizabetta may have been the exception. If it has to with volunteer then Luca Bella might as well hang it up too because she won there. She also needs to lighten up on the tanning or spray tanning because she looked like a teen three years ago and now she looks like she’s about to age out and she’s nowhere close to that.

[> Subject: OP: I’m happy Stephanie won. She’s great! To the vets who I love to see going for it year after year (and that’s genuine), SO counts on you to come back every year, spending your money, selling your ads and your family and friends buying tickets. Please stop! Autumn, Emily, Caitlyn, Baylee, you are more than a title and crown. You are beautiful young women with so much to give without continuing to fund SO. He’s never going to crown you or he already would have. Don’t give him that power any more. MOSP is toxic and it can turn a great girl into someone she is not. It’s happened to each of you at some point. Hold your heads high and walk away. You are all queens!

[> [> Subject: OMG, please. Have you been around Miss Ohio for 20+ years?? Nope, you haven't, because you'd know that the powers that be have not allowed a girl THAT GOOD to win* in decades! Lately we've sent a girl who's platform was how to call 911, another who played Chopsticks, one who did a elementary school level tap dance, the future 'lawyer' who won on her 6th attempt then became a makeup artist. Ohio hasn't sent a true classical talent, and we heard her Friday night, since Amanda Beagle. I am ecstatic that Ohio has broken their mold and is BACK to being BEAUTY pageant and acting like it.

[> [> Subject: That second question she got was BS and everyone in my very experienced watch party felt the same way. There were softball questions to the other girls, then ~what event will you be creating as Miss Ohio~. Miss Ohio is NOT expected to create and execute an event, so why ask that? I'm sure the judges saw it for what it was worth as well. Glad she was able to bluff her way through it.

[> [> [> Subject: Stefanie is fit and will look pretty at the plate; more than the last one. I didn’t think after on stage question she should have won. I’m hoping she can educate herself on world events, get some styling help from Casie and she will do better than the last few! It does concern me that she was supposedly a mean girl but she does come off that way naturally.

[> [> [> [> Subject: Oh God, no! Please don’t let anyone who has been styling the girls that have gone to MA near Stephanie. They end up looking like 50-year-old Republican senators’ wives. It happened to CG, Lora, Elizabetta, and Madison. They don’t look stylish or current at all. They look like they walked off the set of Mad Men. Stephanie has a good sense of style. It just needs to be tweaked a bit. Hopefully she can find someone that can do that without changing who she is.

[> [> [> [> [> Subject: 110% agree. Stephanie is the most glamorous Miss Ohio we've had by far in over 20ys. Do not try to shove her into a box! Do not inflict Vicki's 35ys dated fashion sense on her, like- a white outfit with red shoes & big red earrings- the fricking pop of color shoe & matching accessories is so terribly dated. Don't do it! Ever again!! They sent Betta in a white gown that looked like a homemade preteen's dress and styled her hair straight back and up, making her look even younger. Her interview outfit was acceptable for a local- a black jumpsuit with a basic white jacket that did nothing for her, except date her and make it look like she put no thought into it. I could go right down the line with Lora, Caroline, Matti, Sarah, even the gown they put Alice in...

[> [> [> [> [> [> Subject: Oh yeah, and when Vicki put 20yo Lora in an all red, white, and blue skirted suit outfit to MA introductions that made her look like she was a teenager campaigning for Congress. She looked completely out of place for her age and compared to other contestants. It was ridiculous for a 20yo.

[> [> Subject: And finally, I must ask, "Are you high?" You think that gorgeous girl, who's exceptionally talented in classical ballet- did you see that within 3 seconds she's right up en-pointe & crushing it?, with the knock-out ballet dancer's body, has no shot at the Ten in MA? With the new scoring, only the girls who are exceptional in every area and have the face have a shot, and Stephanie most certainly has a shot.

It wouldn’t look good for your girl if people find out who you are. If the judges were paid, several of the others in top 5 or even 10 would have won.

[> [> [> Subject: I want to show you how ridiculous your lame, lazy, jealous accusation that " :) those judges got a lovely payday", is. #1 That hasn't been how Ohio pageants have been rigged. It's done internally, not by the girls. It's up to Steven. #2 How did she know who the judges were? Their names weren't known until the program books were released. Finally, tell us all the details. How much was the payoff? Where did it happen? Which 2 judges were in on it? And who is the alleged rightful Miss Ohio? You're full of crap accusing Stephanie to have somehow bribed the judges. You need to grow up.

It was a highly competitive year where girls had to fight for every point, and what she brought didn't get her into the Ten.
