Good morning to each Christian mommy here. I’m Bailey, 31, mom of 2 girls 8 and 10. I’m a stay at home mom and my girls are are homeschooled and a co-op day on Thursday with other kids in our church. Prior to having children I was an insurance adjuster and decided that motherhood was more important than working away from home while my kids are growing up.

My husband and I have known each other basically our whole lives. Grew up in the same church, got married there and still belong there. Ours is much like anyone else’s here….conservative values and beliefs. Our pastors are very much pro spanking and strongly believe in traditional Christian values for families. We feel blessed to belong to such a wonderful church and church family.

I personally feel like it’s time to reevaluate our discipline practices and routine with our girls. Currently it’s the familiarity of totally bare over my lap or on their bed face down. Or over my husband’s lap, etc. As they are getting older I feel like we must consider that they may need further guidance or structure. So I’m simply asking for any advice, opinion etc that is being asked in sincerity . What works best for you…what doesn’t?

As additional information we practice the same traditional ways as any of us do. Regular enemas, rectal thermometers, suppositories, etc. Just basic stuff that conservative parents follow for the kids well being.

I’m grateful to Kristina for this forum. Her comments and encouragement to me have been so inspiring. And to others who have posted here, it has been a privilege to read how much God is blessing this group of women. Kristina has suggested that I should provide my contact information for anyone who felt that they would like to respond privately or not publicly. I most certainly respect that!
