I joined another board for 6-12 year olds a few days ago then saw a post for Christian families and thought I would post here.

My husband and I are pro-spanking with 3 boys ages 5, 8 and 10. They all have birthdays in June and July so they just turned those ages. I’ve been looking for a forum to chat with other likeminded parents.

I do 100% of the discipline. My husband will probably take over when they are teens. All three are spanked the same way. They stand in front of me with their hands on their heads while I completely remove their pants and underwear (they all wear colored cartoon briefs). They can place their hands on my shoulders for balance when they step out of their clothes. They are placed over my lap then I talk to them about their behavior. I spank until each of their little butts are as red as a stop sign. I keep them over my lap for a few minutes afterwards then bring them up for cuddle time before corner time. Things like fighting back, a dirty butt, dirty underwear (skid marks & pee stains) can lead to extra punishments. But overall they are obedient during a session. All spankings are given in the family room for all to see and corner time is also in the family room.

Each one gets it about 2 to 3 times per month. The 10 and 8 YO get the most, I think the 5 YO learns from big brother’s’ mistakes!

The boys go to a Christian school, they play soccer and baseball, love Legos, and are in Boy/Cub Scouts.
