Several months, that is wonderful he was doing so well, hope you celebrated that.

Although, from working with some of the families from our church, we have found spanking more than once a week can be very beneficial, especially for boys.

Not for no reason of course, but just correcting more things, more teachable moments. Just expecting a bit more of them, the structure and responsibility.

Rather than a dreaded "oh no I have to spank again" it can be viewed as an act of care and love when it happens.

Basically I feel its wonderful when kids can go that long without one, but i dunno, I suppose , boys just respond very well to it when used more frequently.

Along with more frequent praise and exaggerated excitement over the lil things of course.

And 100% every family does things how it works for them, no judgment, just like to put ideas out there and share what has worked for us in past and present.
