I'm John we have 3 girls and a boy. We sometimes use spanking. Prayer is an important part of our life too, and after a punishment we always pray with our children after.
We always discuss beforehand bad behaviour and the bad behaviour and what the punishment will be. We give them time before hand to think about their behaviour and prepare for the punishment, normally 15-20 minutes.
