~*~*Another memory started then. This one seemed more friendly in nature. It was, not surprisingly, Avalon and Naoki again. They were standing at the feet of some unseen deity, with their heads bowed.*~*~
???- Naoki and Avalon- recent events have brought you both to our attention. Naoki, one of great power- and Avalon, a gifted Summoner from an ungifted blood line.
~*~*It turned to Naoki.*~*~
???- You are hunted and you know this. In exchange for protection, against humans and Keeping Spirits alike, you pledge yourself to the Sanctuary. Agreed?
Naoki- Agreed...
???- Avalon, you are a gryphon rider. Whether you like it or not, you are already bound to us. Acceptance or exile is your choice. Acceptance will bring you proper training and love. Exile will make you hunted for the rest of your existance.
Avalon- I will accept, milord....
???- Good. You are both now under my protection. Please report to the respective moons where you will be trained, and I will check up on you in about a month. Once I believe you are no longer a threat to yourselves and others, you will be free to live your own lives- to a given extent.
~*~*They both got up, and walked away. You stayed with the deity. He turned to one of his guards, with a dark glare in his eyes.*~*~
???- Something is not right, with either of them... This will not end well. Kill them.
Guard- Yes, milord.
~*~*The vision flashed forward, to Naoki in Ashavar with Aya and Eiji. He was wandering around the remains of the old lab there, when the same guard came to him.*~*~
Guard- Fire Song?
Naoki- WHA--?! Don't sneak up on me like that! You know better!
Guard- What are you doing here?
Naoki- I was told to look into this place.... Theres nothing for miles, it seems like it is abandoned to me.
Guard- Good.
~*~*A swift hit to his head with a nearby tree branch sent Naoki into darkness. His body was hauled to one of the containment vessels, and left inside. The man managed to use a small pellet gun to knock Aya out of the air, before she was placed with Naoki. Eiji, however, escaped as the other two were sealed away. The guard pulled out some form of communication device and spoke into it.*~*~
Guard- I got the man and his bird. They will die in approximately two hours.
???- 'Bird?' He had two- please tell me that you got them both!
Guard- Eh, no.... Just a silver one...
???- YOU MISSED THE GOLD ONE! He won't die in there unless both of his bonds are with him!
Guard- Relax, this place is too far out to support a bird of that race. It will be killed or it will die on its own within a week.
???- For your sake, I hope you are correct....
~*~*It flashed to an area you had yet to see. A small, pirfectly round pond- filled with small flat rocks, and a very small rim of stone to keep the water from falling over the cliff that surrounded the 'island' on all sided. Several water falls were running around from a larger circle, from somewhere very high- and apparently, this pool was floating in the center. Avalon and her gryphon companion Ardana. They seemed to be here only for the sake of enjoying the scenery. Avalon was not in her normal dancing outfit- she was wearing one that was very much arabian in style, with a shirt that barely covered her breasts but had long sleeves, and pants that started on her hip bones and were quite a bit baggy. She had no shoes, and her hair had been tied into a loose braid. It was longer than she currently kept it. Her gryphon stood at her side, golden and brown feathers ruffling slightly in the breeze. A light erupted overhead, and the guard descended. He wasted no time with Avalon- he pulled his sword right away and took a shot at her throat. Dodging with relative ease via a back bend, she flipped back onto another flat rock as Ardana quickly took off into the air. Jerking one of her arms, Avalon dislodged something that had been in her sleeve- a small throwing star, it looked like. She did the same to her other sleeve, and then something caused them to change- rather than being stars, it turned into a somewhat larger hoop with four long spikes sticking out of the center, with a second hoop half way up the blades. Her hand hold was made in the center where the blades met. They were both colored beautifully in red, blue, and black- which matched her outfit. You had never seen Avalon fight with anything other than one of her staves- much less with any kind of shuriken. She spun the blades in her hand, and turned to face her attacker. She held the blades in front of her and spun them again, this time sending a powerful beam of light from them. It seemed to blind the guard just before he pulled back for another attack. Holding one of them over her head and one before her, they began to shimmer as what looked like a ghost appeared behind her. You had seen it before- the golden lady was very obviously some sort of relation to Shiva, though you were not sure what that particular Summon's name was. It seemed to lend her power as she brought the top star down through the back of the guards skull, and then released it while spinning around to plant the other one in his neck. The girl behind her then cast a spell to remove the weapons from the body, with no blood on them- and then shrank them back down to stars and handed them back to Avalon. She nodded her thanks.*~*~
Avalon- Thank you, lady Viera. You know what to do...
~*~*She helf her hand between her eyes as she issued an order.*~*~
Avalon- Judgement Circle.
~*~*Viera nodded, and held both of her hands into the air as she closed her eyes. Three circles appeared around her- one at her knees, one at her waist, and one at her neck. They were all the same size, about five feet in diameter. They all began to spin as Ardana quickly descended. Avalon tucked her weapons away and climbed onto the Gryphons back as it quickly lifted off- just before the circles turned to light and spread out over the island. What was left of the man was instantly gone- and the hoops of light had entrapped his spirit and soul. They seperated the two, and then destroyed them both. Viera then floated up to where Avalon was waiting.*~*~
Viera- He had ill intentions, milady. The Judgement Circle passed him badly. It says that he was sent by the Sanctuary, that they wanted you dead for some reason.
~*~*Avalon closed her eyes, and nodded.*~*~
Avalon- Thank you, Viera. Dismissed.
~*~*The maiden vanished, as Avalon and Argana quickly turned north and vanished over the horizon.*~*~
~*~*The vision ended after that, and you returned to the white abyss.*~*~
