Subject: 8th SPS Personal Ubon 1969/70

Ok information needed, Trying to locate some friends from Ubon 8th SPS. time frame Aug 1969 thru. Aug 1970. I was station at Ubon as a cook # 2 chow hall. In Sept. '69 assigned as an augmentee to the SP. My verification, there was Sgt. nick name Ski. Ski and I became very good friends Brothers in fact. I knew a great many of the guys. In fact a I friends with Glen Warren. I applied for memnership to the VSPA. Need to verify that I was an augmentee between 9//69 - 8/'70. should anyone remember please email me so I could forward it to Paul Shave membership. Also Jan/70. I was in the bomb dump near the back gate. There was Black E5 Sgt that came around and check in with me in the heat of the flight line battle. All the cops I ran around with are the best friends one could have. PS there was Sgt who rode town patrol,married to a Thai. girl,we'ed hooked and we got completely intoxicated the night I left Bangkok. It was a great send off. Miss all those guys. Jim Devore and I email each other trying locate Ski. Thank You Everyone best year ever,BEST OF FRIENDS.
