Maybe not, unless these few points are included in defining eternity: As long as the 58,000 plus KIA/LOD are dead—cowards will not be forgiven...that might be fair...or, as long as loved ones still mourn them...or, as long as veterans recall those fatal days that scarred their hearts with dark dreams through the decades; or as long as their hallowed-names, etched in stone and American hearts, are touched at The Wall that bestows a living-healing restful-acceptance; or until every coward’s gravestone crumbles to dust and stains the earth with a lasting stench of dogs’ favorite marking-place, where once a coward lay buried, rotted to naught, unforgiven by warriors, forgotten by men, Judged by God, and never...ever, rested a single day in peace—then, and only then—eternity...is...long...enough.
