That is kind of my point Van on removal of names and statues that may inflame or spark passion are history. Our grand children and great grand children will be clueless and have no reason to ask WHY? Would they know John Wayne's birth name or that he was born in Iowa. He never served but his acting was deemed more important to the war effort. That he has a section of the Cowboy Museum displaying his large collection of Hopi Indian Kachina dolls. His name even got into GI slang. With 50 years plus behind us we are part of history and they are already trying to write us out. That is why we have to keep all things that relate to all periods of history.
