Subject: REUNION INFORMATION REGARDING THE OPTIONAL TOUR OF THE PIMA MUSEUM

Hello to all.

There is a question below regarding the tour of the Boneyard due to conflicting information.

The problem with the Boneyard tour is that it has an additional cost, must be conducted on a museum tram and is an in-and-out drive around tour of the rows of aircraft. You cannot exit the tram or pose for photos next to planes, etc. It will be hot on this tour and will require all members to ride on the museum trams. The Boneyard is not located at the museum. It is inside security on base. The museum is the only entity that can conduct this tour and it must be on their trams at an additional cost with additional time required.

The tour at the museum is with a docent on board OUR buses and includes aircraft on static display at the museum which will take over an hour as the static displays represent the aircraft that are located in the Boneyard. Members will be able to return to the various aircraft after the docent tour for photos.

Our goal for this event is to minimize exposure to the heat and to return to the hotel by 1430 so that we can spend more time visiting with each other.

I apologize for the confusion.

Steve
