Steve, I decided a few yrs ago to do the same, discussed radiation and biotic. Dr. who did biotic was a reserve Lt. Col,AF, he stated he was pretty sure he would be successful getting it all. Found the prostate was about 40% cancer, he took large margins, stated one area was very close to my bladder and was not sure he got it all. Later my PSA level started to rise again so had 10 wks of radiation, later I still had a psa rating and it doubled itself so now I'm on Chemo shots, seems to be working so far. My Dr. stated so far it's holding it's own. It's not a cure, but so far holding it from spreading. I looked at the options when first discovered, so knew what I was doing. Don't 2nd guess myself and accept what it is. I used DAV also, had no problems, they know what their doing. You'll know more about your decision in 6mths when you start PSA testing again. Hopefully you won't have a reading, good luck.
