Subject: Can you ID the below Patch?

Gents,

I'm working on a project for the Mayaguez Incident. Several of the 18 SPs, of the 56th SPS at NKP, killed in Line of Duty during the crash of Knife 13, a CH-53C Sea Stallion helicopter, are wearing 56th SPS black berets in photos taken just previous to the take off and crashing within 30 minutes after liftoff. The berets have blurred 56th SPS patches that I am unable to identify or locate.

If you have the patch, or know what or where it is online, please email me directly at dp-lm37@vspa.com

Please Copy and Paste this link to your browser, for the best image of the 56th SPS beret's patch, as worn by 1LT Coe, on 13 May 1975:

Greatly appreciated. Don Poss
