Seems like the VSPA web page hasn’t updated anything regarding the latest issue and I still don’t get anything in the mass email mentioned. Me & my compadre Richard (VSPA Treasurer since 2002) are not able to participate this year in San Antonio due to his serious health issues and my own failure to simply be heard. As a loyal & dedicated member since 2001 the least anyone should expect from a brotherhood is an honest response from the BOD. Twenty three years ago after 911 up to the 2023 Charleston reunion we bonded even better than our Vietnam service. We respectfully discussed association business, voted, gathered once yearly and accomplished so much more than the vast number of still existing but terminal Vietnam service org’s. What’s happened then? If I need to say it, then we’re turning a blind eye to the malevolent socio political times we as Americans & veterans live in.
With that may I wish you all a blessed and triumphant reunion. To those dear friends you’ll always have a place in my heart.
