Larry,

I answered both more recent Bulletin Boards (BB) posts above, by you and Bruce, regarding the state of the VSPA BBs. Scroll up to read them.

For those who read this, the short version is it takes a man to step up and claim responsibility to make something work. The BB is no exception and someone must grasp the wheel and turn the rudder from the rocks.

One member, taking over the BB can make it successful and living again. Where are the members 10 years younger than some of our staff who served in-country in the war's early years.

Yes, there are shut-ins, and members with agent orange stripping away their life during the years said to be golden. But there are also those who won't help, never have, and never will... and generally, that's fine, but as you know, we are a terminal organization. In the later years together, members must ask what they can do. Whatever it is, they will not be tossed in by themselves.
