She continues to rub the head of the gold-red chirr, her claws slightly retracted so as she is giving the femme a scratch and a massage. Her ears are pressed flat against her head from fear and nervousness. She wasn't quick to trust other Qynes. It may seem odd to others how easily she trusted the Niyias and not Qynes, but to Zaniel it was simple. Niyias didn't enslave their own people, and she had never met a cruel or evil Niyia, or any other creature for that matter.Qynes and those myth humans on the other hand....Zaniel forces her golden fox ears to return to their alert position, so that they are no longer buried in her curly black hair. Her gold skin glimmers faintly as she shifts, mindful of the chirr nearby that she is petting. She smiles at the little gold-red femme, adoring her, but not knowing if the chirr was for her. She turns back to Maeko and gives a faint smile, quite an effort on her part.
